We just learned that Dr Philip Eames, who participated in River City Voices' inaugural Assistant Conductor program under the mentorship of RCV Artistic Director Dr Sarah Penicka-Smith, has won the 2020 Willgoss Choral Composition Prize! Philip's award-winning composition "This Great Unrain": Three songs of drought for unaccompanied mixed choir, will be given its first performance by the Burgundian Consort on Friday 2 October 2020 at 7pm at UNSW.
