River City Voices' repetiteur, Su Choung, has been awarded a 2020 scholarship for the prestigious Melba Opera Trust mentorship program. This is a significant achievement! The program was established "to ensure that young Australian opera singers and repetiteurs with exceptional promise are supported financially during a crucial phase of their development, namely postgraduate training as the bridge to becoming polished professionals on the opera world stage." We're thrilled that Su will continue with River City Voices this year. You can hear her accompany the choir at our upcoming performance of Morten Lauridsen's Nocturnes on Sunday May 3 at 6.00pm, Edith Angel Hall, Our Lady of Mercy College, Parramatta. See you there!
