Music Reading Workshop
for Absolute Beginners!

Date XXXX
PHIVE, Parramatta Square

Love music, love to play, love to sing, but no idea how to read music?

This workshop is for you!

Demystify

  • music notation - how a sound is written as a black or white dot on the page

  • ledger lines - how those dots are placed to represent higher and lower sounds

  • time signatures - how we can all sing the same rhythm (beat)

  • key signatures - how we can all sing in tune and harmony, major key (happy) and minor key (sad)

  • dynamics - singing with expression

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to unlock the language of music in this hands-on workshop led by experienced teacher, cellist and RCV tenor Gabriel Newman.

Spots are limited.
