

Lanneke Jones is a singer, choral director, adjudicator, composer and educator specialising in a cappella, jazz and early music. With a passion for music education, she is dedicated to sharing the joy and transformative power of music. Lanneke teaches music and choirs at Reddam House North Shore and has 15 years’ classroom experience, alongside directing musicals and festivals at Loreto Kirribilli, SCEGGS Darlinghurst and Wenona. She has directed choirs for 25 years, including Sydney Children’s Choir, Hummingsong and Sea Naturals Cronulla, and is currently Choral Director at St Michael’s Church Lane Cove, and founder/director of Sing Now Choir.
As a vocalist, Lanneke has been a principal artist with The Song Company and Opera Australia, performing and recording extensively with leading ensembles including Sydney Cantata Project, Bach Akademie Australia, Cantabile Music and Cantillation. Her work spans classical, jazz, festivals, theatre, soundtracks and studio recording. In 2026 she worked as
répétiteur and music advisor for Sydney Theatre Company’s Doubt, directed by Marion Potts, and co-directs Music Now with composer Ruth McCall. From 2027, she will tour nationally with Musica Viva In Schools’ All Voices Allowed, bringing the joy of a cappella singing to school communities across Australia.
