At the age of 18, Susan Forss-Clarke was accepted into the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, where she spent the next five years studying opera.

After moving to Sydney in 1987, Susan learned from renowned vocal coach Myra Lambert OA and performed in many concerts, was a regular performer at The Garrison Church, sang at countless weddings and was also a member of numerous musical societies. Following an extended break after having twins, Susan joined River City Voices in 2022.

Susan believes in pulling your weight and going the extra mile and so volunteered to become a chorister representative for 2024, a role she is looking forward to.

In Sydney, Susan has worked as a Judge’s Associate, Office Manager and Executive Assistant. She also has a busy practice as a Personal Trainer and has run her own business in the health and wellness industry for the past 20 years. Living a long and healthy life is something she is also very passionate about!
